Improved and simplified Inbox viewOptimized and decluttered the Inbox view of Secure Email to provide a better user experience. Contacts and Favorites were moved to the Navigation Drawer, leaving only the Inbox view as the main screen in Secure Email’s interface.
Optimized data usage when sending an emailEnhanced the performance of Secure Email, by reducing the data used to send an encrypted email up to seven times, resulting in a smoother user experience.
Users do not receive delivery receipts from more than one recipientFixed an issue which prevented users from receiving delivery receipts from more than one recipient. Users now can request and receive delivery receipts from multiple recipients.
The app crashes after trying to open attachment when the default save path was changed
Secure Email crashes when a user has logged in with two or more accounts and attempts to send an email from Secure ChatFixed an issue which caused app crashes in cases when users with two or more Secure Email accounts tried to send an email to one of their contacts from Secure Chat. Users can now open Secure Chat, select a contact and open the contact details screen, tap on the Secure Email icon and then will be prompted to select one of their Secure Email accounts in order to proceed with sending an email.
Hide sensitive notifications not available for Secure EmailEnabled the hiding of sensitive notifications from the Secure Email application on Secure Phone’s lock screen. Users now have full control over the display of notifications from Phone Settings > Notifications > When device is locked.
Secure Email crashes when a user tries to send an email to support from Secure ChatFixed an issue which prevented users from contacting support from Secure Chat. Users can now seamlessly send feature requests, bug reports or other requests to our support team.
Users prompted to enter Security Lock twice when sending a Log File from Secure ChatFixed an issue which prompted users to enter their Security Lock twice when trying to send a Log File attached from Secure Chat. Users can now send Log Files without having to input an extra password.

Unified contact flow for Secure Email and Secure ChatFrom now on, on attempt to add or edit a contact, Secure Email will redirect you to Secure Chat where all the contact information will be stored.
Manual (instant) lock option addedIn the case of an emergency, users can instantly lock the app using the dedicated button in the navigation drawer.
Introducing Security Lock, one password for app lock and email encryption/decryptionSecurity Lock is a passcode that replaces the Key Word. It allows users to unlock the app, send/read encrypted emails, and access all keys from all their accounts with just one password.
New Contacts UIAll Secure Email contacts are now presented in one tab. The “Account Contacts” tab has been removed due to new contact flow.
Change account name option removedThe Account Settings has been decluttered by removing the Change account name option. Provided the user has changed their account name, it would be reverted to their account username after updating to the new version.
Secure Email backup optimizationPublic keys are no longer included in the Secure Email backups. If lost they will be downloaded in the next email exchange.
Changed default sync settings configurationTo reduce data consumption, the default “Download background content” values have been changed to Always, Only Wi-Fi. To adjust them, go to Account settings > Synchronisation settings > Background content download.

Default email view changed“Thread” is now the default interface view when launching app for the first time. All messages from all folders are displayed in the Inbox, including Sent and Draft. Messages are sorted in date order, with the most recent shown in full detail. Tapping on the Delete button in a thread deletes the entire thread.
Inbox UI redesign• Added three tabs under the action menu in the Inbox screen for quick access to contacts, favorites and Inbox folder that can be open with a swipe or by tapping.
• “Sync contacts at Exchange” has been renamed to “Sync contacts with server”

Secure Chat crashes on attempt to edit contacts from Secure EmailFixed a crash issue that occurred when a user attempted to edit a contact from the Secure Email contact list, right after they had exit Secure Chat.
Infinite login loopA defect allowed auto-login to be triggered when the device was not connected to the Internet. As a result, if users tried to log into the app when they were not connected to the internet, they got trapped in a login loop. Fixed!

Unified contact flow for Secure Email and Secure ChatAdding and editing secure contacts can now be done only via the Secure Chat app. When attempting to create or edit a contact in Secure Email, the user is redirected to Secure Chat, where all contact information will be stored. Each new contact added through Secure Email will automatically receive an invitation to connect on Secure Chat, too.
Unified address bookUsers can now add contacts from Secure Email and other email applications to the Secure Chat’s contact list. Еxternal contacts won’t be available to chat with; they can be reached via email using Secure Email.
New contact status iconsIn the Contacts tab, the presence status has been displaced by new icons that indicate Secure Chat existing and pending contacts.
Change Account button removedAs the Secure Chat’s auto-login feature is always enabled and cannot be turned off, to change accounts users have to log out, then log back in with another account. Therefore, the Change Account button has been removed from the Login screen.
“File is not saved” error on attempt to view received filesOn Android devices, users would get an error and could not view received Word, PDF and TXT files although supported.
Message preview reveals message text after clearing the chat historyFixed an issue with the most recent message still being exposed in the message preview (in Recent Chats) after clearing the chat history or when in “Do Not Save History” mode.
Speakerphone Mode not working properlyFixed an issue with the PPT messages being played through the device’s speakers although the Speakerphone Mode was disabled.

Manual login after Security Lock changeThe app will not automatically log the user in after changing their Security Lock.
• On Android devices, the user is redirected to the Login screen with Sign Up and Login options.
• On Secure Phone, the user is redirected to the Login screen where only the username is pre-filled, and they need to enter their account password.
Auto-login always on, Logout button moved to Account SettingsTo bypass logging out Secure Chat users on each update, the auto-login feature is now always enabled. The option has been removed from the Settings menu and can’t be turned off. The Logout button has been moved to Account Settings as it’s usually used when changing accounts.
Improved Set Security Lock processYou can now use the “Done” key on the soft keyboard to trigger the Set Security Lock process.
Better organized chat listEach newly created group chat is positioned at the very top of the Today section in the Recent Chats tab.
Excessive data consumption while establishing OTR sessionIn case of an unstable Internet connection, the OTR session would go in a loop, and this would push the app to consume an excess amount of data.
Hidden contact or chat becomes visible after unlocking the device with the Power buttonLocking the device using the Power button while in a hidden chat would reveal the hidden data on the next device unlock.
Message preview in Recent Chats shows FYEO messagesThe message preview in the Recent Chats tab would show a FEYO message even after its expiration period. The FYEO messages must not exist anywhere after the expiration of the chosen period.
Receivers are able to save FYEO messages to VaultThe “Save to Vault” option shouldn’t be available for received FYEO messages, as they are supposed to be seen by the receiver only.
Wrong ordering in Recent ChatsThe most recent chat sometimes would be incorrectly placed at the bottom of the Recent Chats tab. The chat sessions should be ordered by date, with the most recent one on top.
Group reverts to its former nameFixed an issue where the group name reverted to its former one as soon as the group owner went online.
Duplicate group chatGroup chat at times would be displayed twice in the Recent Chats tab.
Wrong photo on the contact invitationWhen sending a contact invitation, the avatar of the first contact in your contact list would be fetched on it. No picture should be displayed on the invitation until it’s accepted.
New messages not visible in “Do Not Save History” modeIf a new message is received while the app is set to “Do Not Save History” and is working in the background, the user gets a new message notification, but the message itself would not be visible in the chat screen. Fixed!
Edit and Copy options not available for shared contactsFixed an issue with the Copy and Edit options not appearing on long pressing a shared contact.
Share Contact not working in hidden chatsFixed an issue where an attempt to share a contact in a hidden chat would return the user to the Recent Chat tab without sending the v-card.
Forward option not available for shared filesFixed an issue with the Forward option not appearing on long pressing a shared file. It should be available for all shared files except for the files received using the FYEO mode.
Participant kicked from group chat after tapping its nameTapping the group name on the top of the Chat screen would remove the participant from the group chat instead of showing the name. Fixed!
Cannot share files in “Do Not Save History” modeFixed an issue which prevented the files from sending when the “Do Not Save History” mode is applied.
Sending Group Chat invitations fails on network interruptionSending and receiving Group Chat invitations would fail if the app loses internet connectivity.
ANR caused by sluggish return from Settings to ContactsGoing back from Settings to the contact list could be sluggish at times which may result in app unresponsiveness.
Delay in opening the account settingsFetching data from Secure Manager caused the app to become unresponsive for about two seconds which resulted in slow opening the account settings.
ANR caused by tapping Logout on the Unlock screenTrying to log out of app from the Unlock screen caused the app to become unresponsive (ANR).

The group owner is shown in the participant list after deleting the groupWhen the group owner deletes the group, he/she is removed from the list of participants in the group chat.
Global FYEO configuration reverts to defaultThe change of the FYEO interval from the global Settings would not be reflected by the app and reverted to default after leaving the configuration screen.
Day of the week / Date mismatchChanging the date in the Device Settings would not honor the day of the week. This resulted in the Day of the week/Date mismatch and incorrect chat timestamps in Recent chats.

Cannot modify pending messagesPending text messages cannot be edited. You can copy, forward, and delete them.
Reduced data usageSecure Chat data usage in Idle and Active mode has been reduced by 50% and 10%, respectively.
New options to manage received TTL messagesLong tap on a received TTL message will give you the options to copy, forward, delete and save to Vault.
Long tap on a received TTL media file will give you the options to forward, delete and save to Vault.
Video length and size limitTo reduce data consumption, there is a 25 MB file size limit on shared files. Video messages are now limited to 30 seconds in length.
New options to manage sent FYEO/TTL messagesLong tap on a sent FYEO/TTL text message before the specified time elapses will give you the options to edit, copy, forward, delete and save to Vault.

Reseller form backend validation
Move user account to usernameIn order for the client to be able to open more than one account with the same email for easier communication the login/sign up process has been move from using an email to using an username. The changes implied from that are:
1. Clients now register/login with username instead of email.
2. Username is unique for the system.
3. Old clients will not be disturbed to create a username, instead their email is migrated as username and they can login with it.
4. When a new client is registered, they are not active until they validate their email.
Other functionalities that we provide with this feature are:
1. Changing of email: old email is used until the new one is confirmed/validated
2. In order to have only one support account which handles the tickets when multiple accounts are registered with one email, we have provided the Master Support account feature – when marked in some of the accounts, this will be the account which receives the support tickets created from the email.
3. In case of lost or unreceived email, we also provide the resend validation email option which is on the login page
4. In order to improve security even more, we imply a 10 minutes ban when user tries to unsuccessfully login more than 5 times in a row.
Client password validationIn order to improve security a new validation rule for passwords is created. Now when registering or changing password for own account or sub-account, clients are required to enter passwords which are minimum of 8 characters and contain at least 2 letters, 2 numbers and 1 capital letter.

Prevent renew for service which is currently being cancelled by cronPreviously when clients try to renew while our order or daily maintenance background processes run, they had to wait for them to finish in order to renew. This was done in order to not create a mismatch if someone tries to renew a currently processing service by our background processes.
This however is an inconvenience for the clients because the were made to wait up to 30 minutes for that.

1. User may renew service from Service details > Management actions > Renew service when our background processes are running
2. User can not renew service only during HIS/HER service cancellation
2.1 When user tries to renew his /her service during cancellation show following message ‘Sorry, you can not renew while our automated system updates service status. It takes up to 30 minutes. Please try again later.’
3. User may renew service right away after completing ‘cancellation’ for his/her service

User is not able to pay for Subscription (Secure Chat) from Google play marketWhen client purchases a Secure Chat subscription from the app(Google play), the invoice issued in LAS stays unpaid, but in the app client receives notifications from Google play that everything is paid.
This is now fixed and the invoice is paid in this case.
